Hong Kong visual diary: Nan Lian Garden to Kowloon Walled City

We had no plan when we woke up today, but when we opened our eyes and saw all the way up the mountain on this clear winter day in Hong Kong we knew we had to do something. After getting ready and having breakfast, we took the Star Ferry to Tsim Sha Tsui again to get some clearer pictures of the Hong Kong island skyline. That requirement for a clear day taken care of, we headed deep into the Kowloon peninsula to visit the Nan Lian Garden and Chi Lin Nunnery. After spending a while at the gardens and nunnery we had a lunch of fish ball noodle soup and chicken congee. We continued on to visit Wang Tai Sin temple and the Kowloon Walled City park before our legs raid their flags of surrender and sent us scurrying back to central for dinner. As you may expect, details will be shared in a future post. It’s time for us to stop working on blogs for the night and start working on our plan to visit Macau tomorrow.
